FAQ.

“I’ve booked my session but I don’t know what to wear?”
This is my favourite question and it can have a great impact on the results of your photographs. Colors, layers and accessories are always a good thing in my books! Try to avoid any logo’s/branding on your clothing. Coordinating a color scheme is totally in, wearing matching outfits is out. Think tone on tone patterns, knits, scarves, jewellery, hats and layers.  A wardrobe change is always an option and up to those being photographed too! Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable.  What you wear should reflect your personality as well as your sense of style. Have fun with it! “How do we choose a location?”

We will work together to determine the best location for your vision and style.I am an on location or in-home photographer that uses only natural sunlight. I have a few favorite locations in Kingston and surrounding areas but I am always open to suggestions or somewhere new.

“Are you available for travel?”

Yes! I love travelling and I find new destinations very inspiring. I am available for travel near and far, that is if you choose to invite me!

“When is the best time for my session?”
For outdoor sessions the best natural light is generally during the morning or evening hours.
However, we will be able to coordinate a time that works best for our schedules. ‘Golden Hour’ (my personal favourite time for sessions!) is usually within the last few hours before sunset. For in-home style sessions morning and afternoon works best.
“To reschedule or not to reschedule?”
Rain can be a worry, especially in the Spring and Summer months. In most cases, we will discuss and decide if we want to reschedule a session at no extra charge.
“Can I bring props to my session?”
Please feel free to bring any props, blankets, outfit changes and accessories or personal belongings to your session. These are your photographs to cherish and anything that reflects you and your family is more then welcome to be in the photos.
“When do I pay for my photos?”
Full payment is due at the time of the session, except in the case of weddings.
Wedding packages require a non-refundable deposit when reserving the date in my calendar.
“How long after my session will I get my photos?”
Sessions are edited in the order they are shot. Depending on the time of year, editing can vary depending on the time of year.  Each image you receive is hand touched and edited by me. This generally takes a lot of time and on top of that I am usually also working on several sessions and weddings at one time. I will post sneak peeks on my facebook and instagram but the full session can be excepted in about 3-4 weeks. Please allow up from 4 – 7 weeks for a full wedding to be completed.
“Do you sell gift certificates?”
Of course! They make great gifts for all holidays and occasions. Gift certificates come in any denomination to put toward the cost of a session. Contact me for more information.
“How much do you charge to shoot a Wedding? Can I create my own custom package?”
Please view our investment page for more information of our Wedding Package information. We offer three wedding packages that you can choose from and we are also able to create a package more suitable for you and your day!

“Can I make prints and enlargements anywhere I choose?”

YES! You get all owning rights to your images in JPEG format from your photo session. This means you have the rights to print, post and share however you would like.
